Whoa… I just found my 5-year-old web site that I made in high school. It is hideous. What was I thinking with those backgrounds and that color scheme? It’s like someone set a tornado loose in an ugly wallpaper store…
Anyway, it’s kind of funny to look at. I have some stuff on there that I must have though was hilarious at one point. I’m surprised Tripod is still hosting it – I kind of figured that it had expired by now. I should really archive the whole thing, just for posterity’s sake. Looks like I still have my Molecular Biology project on the endocrine system, and my various finals study guides. Craziness.
I’m just very happy that I know favor blue and grey themes for my web sites. :o)

Be sure to check out my friend Joe’s Smoob page, from 8th grade. Just be aware that there is obnoxious site music, so adjust your speakers/headphones accordingly.

On another random note, I find it amusing that my website appears to have outlasted the ad service that’s supposed to go in the bottom frame. ::shudder:: Frames. Ick.
Yup, mine’s still up too: http://tirerim.tripod.com/. Though the last time I checked, it was just at members.tripod.com/~tirerim; I have no idea when they started handing out subdomains.
Amazingly, I think yours is worse, at least in terms of the backgrounds…
Aaaaaah! Backgrounds!
As far as I can remember, I found this package of tiled background patterns, and used as many of them as I could.
The funny thing is, I used decent CSS code for the layout, with the possible exception of relying on frames. Why oh why did I use those colors that shouldn’t be?
Those frames totally need to die. Now.
