       It’s Christmas Eve, so I’m helping my family upgrade Yosemite to El Capitan.

    Because of storms in the Pacific Northwest, we stayed at a low cruising altitude (27000 feet according to our pilot, Leroy Brown). This is us breaking out of the clouds to see midday sun. I really liked the pattern of these low cloudtops over the Midwest. Makes me think of some frigid exoplanet.

    I captured a few shots of the frost we’ve had the last two days, mostly in our shaded front yard. I’m really impressed with the detail a phone camera can capture these days… even when it overwhelms my server!
