Busy, Busy

I did get a brief break after the madness in January, but now we’re moving full-tilt into doing a metric boatload of data processing in preparation for some demos and evaluations coming in the next few months.

It turns out that when you have several gigabytes of foreign text, it takes a while to translate it to English.

At the moment, I’m working from home, while monitoring some batch processes. I’m watching last night’s Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics, which I recorded in HD on my newest computer gadget in another window.

I could get use to “working” like this…

It turns out, when a lawyer decides he wants changes made to the design of a website, that takes time to develop. It also turns out that the lawyer is unlikely to realize this…

  2. But if you can “work” from home, you can “work” from “home” and can “work” while “hanging out with people”, which is to say I expect to see you next weekend.
