The 4th

All of Bruce’s minions were invited over the the Maxwell’s for tie-dyeing and a BBQ. The food was delicious and seemingly never-ending, including fresh vegetables, fruit salad, greek-marinated pork in pitas with yogurt and peppers, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, and ice cream bars.

Fox and the other kids played in the pool, and ran around in their huge yard. They have a lot of flora and fauna in that one acre…

After eating, we sat around and talked for a few hours. Geeky stuff came up, of course, but we talked about food, animals, travel, and a lot of other stuff. It’s always nice to have normal conversations every once and a while.

My sister called shortly before we left, so I was able to talk to her and my mom out in Sioux Falls, SD while they were waiting for the fireworks to start. I’ve definitely missed going to my Grandma’s the last two 4ths, but the robots need me here.

None of the cool explosives are allowed here in PA, so I’ll have to wait until Michigan at the end of August when I’m visiting my other grandparental units and I can blow stuff up on the beach.
